Re: Reference for Tim Harris

I first met Tim in August 2010 when he was bought on-board as a design consultant to bid for the Greenstone (now Z Energy) Intranet site business. Part of his role was to work alongside our Enterprise Architect to visually turn his technology ‘vision’ into an intranet design that could wow the business stakeholders.

Tim quickly translated the technical requirements into a creative design prototype that primarily won the business for gen-i. His solid technical understanding of the platform, constraints and foibles ensured that the signed off design was inspired but technically achievable.

During the course of this project (and continuing to be) Greenstone was a fast paced and driven environment that demanded agility, nimbleness, accuracy and quality. Tim worked in a very small and specialised intranet project team and quickly commanded respect of our business stakeholders and technology teams, not only due to his creative design expertise, but the way he interacted with our project sponsor.

This project went on to deliver an organisationally and industry acclaimed site in 7 weeks with rave reviews in design and usability. I have no doubt that Tim’s involvement directly contributed to the overall success of the project and the initial decision to use the professional services of the Gen-i team to achieve this.

I have continued to work with Tim in a number of other projects and work streams and remain to be impressed with his overall professionalism, design proficiency and the relaxed and constructive way he fits into the team.

I very much look forward to the many future opportunities to work with Tim again – in fact I will be asking for Tim specifically when a project requires his skillset.
